You can also pierce few garlic gloves(removing skin of garlic glove) inside the aubergine and then let it get bake on stove
The smell of bit burnt garlic will make the bharta awesome in flavour and smell too
apart from than - apply mustard oil on top before u put on stove or in hot sand or in bbq pit.
- In the end if u can give some charcoal smoke - believe me it will be out of the world and 5 star restaurant chef also will come asking about it
