Fear of judgement- the only prison without colour

This song is very relatable for many of us. It reminds me of myself, and who I am, and what I am worth. Right now, I cannot ask for more than what I have: the great friends I have and the amazing supportive parents I have. Unfortunately, relating to my last post about online judgement, there are a lot of things that do bring me down from time to time, but that never discolours my rainbow. I am myself, my body is the greatest thing I have been given and I will not let myself get pushed down a ditch.

We are all made up of rainbows and each colour brings out a piece of us; blue being our sadness, red being our anger, purple being our fears and most importantly yellow being our joy. These are our emotions which can unfortunately be uncontrollable at times, and no one should feel as if they aren’t valid, no one deserves to present a black and white rainbow.

The clouds supporting the rainbow are our talents and what we have put all our might into. These talents should be exhibited to everyone; stand up for yourself, have the courage and just be determined. There is a reason why this talent is special, it's because it is YOURS, it's something you have your own, and you have every right to be proud of it.

Which brings us to the pot of lucky gold, which is the best thing anyone can ask for. That best thing is YOU; your personality, your looks, your talents, your everything. People who care for you, will support you no matter what, and for the amazing person you are. Everyone knows gold is the least reactive metal, and it is very difficult for it to corrode, and that is what you should be. Alongside that, gold is also one of the shiniest metals. You have to be that gold coin in a pile of aluminium coins, the strongest one of them all and the one that is gleaming.

There are always gonna be the minority who push you back into the ditch while you are trying to climb out of it. Those people are definitely not worth it. Being your best self makes their blood churn and then will do anything to remove that glistening smile on your face. Your time is definitely something they are not worthy of.

“Don’t be afraid to show your true colours”.. Is something to live by. It will be so hard to build up the courage to be the best version of yourself, but it's worth it, 100%. There are times where you will feel like the smallest person, but don’t let people shrink you even more. Climb up to the top and embrace who you truly are, and the best gift anyone can receive is themselves. Live in your own skin and be proud of it.

To those aluminium coins, please don’t judge others for who they are, don’t wear them out. Let them be who they are. If they want to show off their dance skills on tiktok and get only 30 views, leave them, they are doing great right then and there, and the last thing they need is for someone to make them feel terrible about it. So please stop, let people enjoy themselves

STAY STRONG, TAKE CARE AND SHOW OFF YOUR TRUE COLOURS.
