A great way to spend your time during quarantine is with your head in a book. I've been reading a YA novel trilogy called An Ember in the Ashes. A shortened blurb:
Laia is a slave. Elias is a soldier. Neither is free.
It is in this brutal world ruled by the Martial Empire, inspired by ancient Rome, Laia lives with her grandparents and older brother. The family ekes out an existence in the Empire’s impoverished backstreets. They do not challenge the Empire. They’ve seen what happens to those who do.
But when Laia’s brother is arrested for treason, Laia is forced to make a decision. In exchange for help from rebels who promise to rescue her brother, she will risk her life to spy for them from within the Empire’s greatest military academy.
There, Laia meets Elias, the school’s finest soldier—and secretly, its most unwilling. Elias wants only to be free of the tyranny he’s being trained to enforce. He and Laia will soon realize that their destinies are intertwined—and that their choices will change the fate of the Empire itself.
Interested in reading but don't know what to start on? A great way to find a great story is through goodreads where hundreds of reviews and ratings on books of all genres are available for you to read and choose from. But don't let a bad review get into your way from reading a particular book if you feel interested in it. You never know until you try.

An obstacle you may face while wanting to read, is accessibility. But you do not need a physical copy or a kindle to be able to access a library bull of books. A useful application I like using is called iBooks which works best on an iPad or iPhone. By searching the title of the book you want to read as well as 'epub bud', many links popping up will allow you to download the book and open it using iBooks. You can even create your own library in iBooks like so:

Happy Reading!
Wow! Will definitely give this a try.
